Command Sergeant Major Jorge Escobedo enlisted in 1994. He attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, SC, and graduated as a Personnel Records Specialist (75D).
He was assigned to 516th Personnel Service Center in Korea where he performed duties as personnel records specialist. His next assignment was Washington, D.C., where he served as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of officer records. He was then assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment out of Fort Lewis, WA, where he performed duties as an Administrative Personnel Sergeant. During that tenure, CSM Escobedo conducted multiple CONUS and OCONUS training deployments and one real-world deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was assigned to HHC, 75th Ranger Regiment Fort Benning, GA, where he served as the Senior Human Resources Sergeant. He was then selected to serve as the HHC, 75th Ranger Regiment 1SG. More...
